Gholamreza Raissi
Gholamreza Raissi (born 1971 in Shahrekord, Iran) is an Iranian physician and professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS). He also served as a faculty member at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) from 2010 to 2013. Raissi specializes in pain management, neuromodulation, regenerative medicine, electrodiagnosis, facial palsy rehabilitation, and post-disaster rehabilitation. He graduated among the top 1% of candidates in the national board examinations in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has trained more than 150 medical residents. His research contributions place him in the top 2% of scientists worldwide in his field.
Early Life and Education
Raissi was born in 1971 in Shahrekord, Iran, and attended Adab High School in Isfahan. He studied medicine at Yazd Medical School from 1989 to 1996, earning his degree as a Medical Doctor . He completed his specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences from 2000 to 2003. In 2007, he participated as a fellow inNeurorehabilitation at Christchurch, New Zealand.
Academic Career
